Eagle Scout project
This project involved the design and construction of a community notice board for my local park. I independently organized and funded the project by launching a GoFundMe campaign, raising all necessary funds directly from the community.
Beyond design, I managed the full implementation process. I coordinated with city officials to ensure the structure met all required standards and approvals, navigating revisions and feedback throughout the process. I also organized a small team of friends to assist with construction—including digging concrete footings in challenging conditions.(Pictured is my friend Luca happily digginng in the rain)
The notice board was built with durability and longevity in mind. The structure features a solid wood backing assembled using biscuit joints for strength and alignment, along with a tin roof to protect it from the elements. The final installation remains in place today, continuing to serve the community.
